Guernsey is home to many service providers that operate an outsourcing business model.  It’s important for end-users of outsourcing support to effectively identify and manage any associated risks. They also need a degree of assurance that their appointed service provider has an effective internal controls framework and operates effectively. So for the outsourced service provider it’s key to seek assurance that their own controls are appropriately designed, implemented and work effectively.
